Actemium EV is a dedicated business unit to EV Charging solutions, with an increase in activity in this sector we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer in our Coventry office, you will play an essential role in supporting the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from design through construction. Working on medium to large scale projects, you will apply your expertise in electrical engineering to drive innovation and excellence throughout the project. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results, you will be a vital part of our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Electrical Design Engineer within multidisciplinary project teams. 
  • Develop detailed design specifications for electric vehicle charging and related equipment. Understand electrical design and possess knowledge of systems that include chargers, connectors, cables, and communication protocols. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including ICP, product delivery, and commissioning
  • Produce concept designs through to detailed designs. 
  • Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and of consistently high quality.
  • Use initiative and sound judgment to work independently to achieve objectives.

 

 

Profile

About You


Job Requirements:      

  • A recognized Electrical or Building Services Engineering qualification.
  • Several years of experience in designing electrical distribution engineering projects, Experience in  EV DC & AC charging will be a plus.

  • Experience with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Relux, etc.
