We offer mechanical, EC&I, process engineering and design alongside project management and control. Being part of VINCI Energies with a turnover of €14 billion, has allowed Actemium Design to grow in an exciting but secure manner.

 

We are currently recruiting Mechanical Design Engineers to join our head office near Chorley.

The Role

  • Develop safe, legally compliant engineering solutions and verify / validate they satisfy project requirements.
  • Produce detail design drawings in accordance with applicable codes, standards and procedures.
  • Produce engineering documentation to influence and provide evidence of the design process.
  • Source ideas and innovation from multiple sources to achieve the optimum engineered solution.
  • Undertake technical reviews and conduct risk assessments.

Profile

The Person

  • Experienced in mechanical design engineering within a regulated industry (nuclear preferred).
  • Breadth of demonstrable experience of design and detailing plant and equipment.
  • Understands and can apply design codes, standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology and common project management practices.
  • Degree qualified or Level 6 equivalent in an relevant engineering discipline
