Description of the assignment

The VINCI Energies Academy consists in an Academy Team and a network of local Academies in twenty countries. Reporting directly to the executive HR Director of VINCI Energies, the Academy Team has three primary missions:

  • To animate and develop the Learning Network,
  • To create and disseminate VINCI Energies' fundamental training courses that combine internal culture and skills development for all our employees,
  • To develop and deploy our IT training tools essential for a more collaborative approach to training.

 

Within a small multinational team, we are seeking a Digital Product Owner for our Training Tools, on a permanent contract, who will report to the Manager of Digital Training Tools and Quality of the Academy Team.

 

The position works closely with VINCI Energies' Human Resources and Information Systems Departments, as well as with our local Academies around the world, our learners, our external solution providers, and subcontractors.

 

Objectives of the mission are:

- For our 3 global training tools; a Training Management System (TMS), a Learning Management System (LMS), and a Business Intelligence (BI):

  • To promote and ensure the deployment around the world,
  • To oversee the operation and the evolution of the tools,
  • To contribute to continuous improvement,

- To keep a technical watch on new digital tools for training, and implement them if necessary: virtual or augmented reality, podcasts, surveys, etc.

 

This mission will include in particular:

  • Gathering users’ needs and requirements,
  • Planning and prioritizing the backlog,
  • Providing the functional specifications based on user stories,
  • Coordinating the functional evolution of our tools in collaboration with the IT department,
  • Designing and facilitating co-design workshops,
  • Participating in the testing and validation phases of developed features,
  • Preparing and delivering the worldwide Users' Club,
  • Supporting Academies, HR managers and users,
  • Contributing to the preparation of the annual roadmap and budget.

 

Location

Mainly based in Montesson (Paris Area) – France, accessible by public transport
Occasionally in Nanterre (Paris Business District), VINCI Energies headquarters

Occasional travels in France and abroad are to be expected.

Profile

  • 5 years of higher education (business or engineering school, or university course)
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in IT project management and change management allowing you to demonstrate autonomy
  • Precision and accuracy, capacity to summarize and analyze as well as excellent reporting skills
  • Professional English and French (C1)
  • Team player and service mindset, curiosity, adaptability, creativity, good interpersonal skills
